NOTE: Please check both your local code and the manufacturer’s instructions to determine the proper depth of the hearth necessary for your firebox. Wood burning fireplaces typically require a deeper hearth if a wood floor is installed up to the hearth. Vinyl floors also require hearths. Hearths are optional if ceramic or stone floors are installed up to the fireplace.

PLEASE NOTE THAT OVER TIME, SOME SHRINKAGE MAY OCCUR DUE TO NORMAL EXPANSION AND CONTRACTION. BECAUSE THE MANTEL CONTAINS STEEL REINFORCEMENT, THIS IN NO WAY AFFECTS THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE MANTEL.
