This FRENCH REPRODUCTION cast-stone fireplace mantel offers a modern version of the French Style that is scaled for today‘s larger rooms.  Approximately 40 feet of molding is hand cut and applied around the opening and on the 2 tiered layers to provide a fine tailored look The mantel is sized to fit a 46” wide by 39” tall firebox opening. This mantel will fit other size firebox widths but may require filler trim on the sides and top as needed to fit the opening. The overal finished height is 4’ 10” tall and approx. 6’ 4” wide.The size can be adjusted at additional cost. This mantel fits best on a wall that is at least 6 ft 6 inch wide.

PLEASE NOTE THAT OVER TIME, SOME SHRINKAGE MAY OCCUR DUE TO NORMAL EXPANSION AND CONTRACTION.  BECAUSE THE MANTEL CONTAINS STEEL  REINFORCEMENT, THIS IN NO WAY AFFECTS THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE MANTEL.

Our standard finish consists of a back-fill that is applied to smooth the natural crevices that occur in the pouring process. It is further sanded and honed to have the texture and color variation of smooth white limestone. For more details see  OUR PRODUCT page.
